Flotec Track Impresses in Germany: Field-Tested Performance and Reliability
In a recent on-site interview at Forstservice P. Schuster, Florian Kundmüller shared his experience with the Clark Flotec Band, which has been in use for about six months.
The conversation highlighted the band’s impressive performance on wet terrain, where it excels in soil protection and leaves minimal impact—often improving the ground condition rather than damaging it.
Florian praised the band’s wide contact surface, which significantly reduces ground pressure compared to narrower alternatives. Even in challenging conditions, such as slight tracks left by harvesters, the Flotec Band helps restore the terrain effectively.
Traction in varied terrain was also noted as strong, with the system performing well even on slopes, especially when paired with a second set of bands. Installation posed minor challenges due to custom specifications, but with the use of Clark’s own tensioners and locking systems, everything worked smoothly.
When asked if he would choose the Flotec Band again, Florian responded with a clear “yes,” citing its reliability, fit, and performance.
