TerraX hits the market!
Jul 7, 2025
Clark Tracks has released its newest product to market, TerraX, with serial production started in March 2025.
After making an impact at FinnMetko 2024 and a successful pilot project, TerraX is ready to take the forestry industry by storm. This innovative track is designed to reduce downtime and fuel consumption, giving forestry operators a powerful new tool to improve efficiency. As machines in the forestry industry get bigger and more powerful, the need for high quality, reliable tracks becomes more prevalent. However, heavier machines usually mean heavier tracks, which can cause issues when it comes to load limits and fuel consumption. That’s where TerraX comes in as a great choice for these machines as well as being suitable for smaller machines also. Developed by Clark Tracks as a suitable offering for all machines TerraX is set to replace the Terra95 track in December 2025 offering improved performance and reduced weight.
TerraX falls into the multi-terrain category of tracks making it the perfect choice for many applications. And while it delivers the equivalent bending resistance as the Terra95 track, it weighs 30% less. This reduction in weight is a huge win for efficiency, operational costs, and the environment.
TerraX isn’t only lighter, its smarter. On a typical 8-wheel machine with 750/55-26.5 tyres that use tracks on the front and rear, TerraX can reduce weight by 950kg per set in comparison with Terra95. With less weight to carry machines run more efficiently. This is the type of innovation that helps forestry professionals get more done. But the benefits TerraX offers don’t stop there. One of the standout features of TerraX is the Adjustable Haggis Link (AHL). A new joining link that makes tensioning tracks faster with a more customised fit. With the AHL, operators can adjust the tension a track in only two minutes*. The unique AHL teeth offer a wide range of tension options, allowing you to fit the track perfectly to your machine’s needs. It’s a small change that makes a big difference when it comes to optimizing performance and reducing downtime. Using TerraX means overtightening tracks are a thing of the past.
With TerraX deliveries already underway in Finland, we’re excited to see how it will transform forestry operations across the world. The combination of lighter weight, improved fuel efficiency and quicker track installation and adjustments promises to boost productivity and keep machines running smoothly for longer.
TerraX will be available in Europe shortly after the start of production with wider availability to North America and the rest of the world by the end of 2025.
