All Clark Forest Machine Tracks are specifically designed and manufactured for use with a specific tyre.
The shape and fit of the track on the tyre must be correct to avoid tracks damaging tyres or falling off the machine. It is important that tracks are fitted and tensioned correctly.
It must be ensured that all four tyres used with a specific track are correct, all the same and all inflated to the correct pressure.
Some interchangability of track to tyres is possible, however this should only be done with the agreement of Clark.
NOTE: There is a tolerance on the dimensions of newly manufactured tyres from all manufacturers. Also, tyres can expand considerably under heavy loads, a situation which can be aggravated by low tyre inflation pressure. It is therefore essential to have sidewall clearance between track and tyre. This side-wall clearance can cause side float of the track on the tyre as the machine drives. Adequate clearance between mounted track and machine bodywork must therefore be allowed for.
