It is possible under certain circumstances to increase off-road machine driving speeds compared to that of bare tyres. However, unless otherwise specified by the machine manufacturer or tyre manufacturer, 12km/hour should be considered the maximum driving speed for machines fitted with tracks. This applies even on flat, smooth surfaces or forest roads. Speeds should be considerably reduced in the forest.
